Machanical Extraction
- Removal of odours and steam from the kitchen
- Removal of fumes produced by gas fuelled equipment
- Larger canopies will have a manifold to ensure even extraction over whole area
Machanical Air Supply
- To meet current regulations 85% of extracted air must be replaced by mechanical means with fresh filtered air
Options
- Air supply through canopy or in remote location
- Maintenance/inspection hatches in ducting
- Heated supply air
- Silencers, noise attenuation and anti vibration mounts
- Fire dampers
All extraction systems are designed using suitable size and type of fan to provide adequate ventilation of the kitchen, and to meet any CORGI or Local Authority regulations.
